Not knowing what to wear is one of the biggest concerns we have when shooting your engagement session.
Here are some great tips to help navigate what photographs best.
1. Solids…you can’t go wrong with solids. Busy patterns can make it very distracting in the overall photo.
2. Dresses… I love my brides in a dress, there is just something about it. It always seems more flattering and feminine. But if you’re not a dress girl, don’t worry a great stylish pants outfit looks just as flattering.
3. Colors…earth tones and neutrals are always the best way to go.
4. Matching…this is a trend that will date your photos. Instead of wearing matching colors, compliment your outfits with colors from your significant other’s wardrobe.
5. Outfits…feel free to bring several outfits, I always suggest at least 2 for some great variation.
Of course, all of these rules can be broken, there is no right way to dress for a photo as long as you feel comfortable and beautiful it will shine through.
