Hello
      We are
      EMILY & EURIC
      Film Wedding Photographers
The moment we realized we were shooting the wrong details
      EVERYTHING FELL INTO PLACE

      -THE RIGHT DETAILS-

Yes, shooting tablescapes & invitations is important for capturing the day. But what happens if you switch the focus to capturing the details of people? How you look at him – how he runs his finger tips down your arm.

Above all, each image should transport you to that moment 5, 15 or 30 years later on down the road.View Our Portfolio

WITH FILM, WE DON'T KNOW HOW THE IMAGE LOOKS UNTIL IT'S DEVELOPED

Does That Excite Or Scare You?

      trust
You have to have a deep level of trust in your photographer. When you can let go of all doubt and feel secure that you're in good hands, only then can you let your guard down and show the camera the real you.
      That should excite you

I picked up my first camera in high school. Back then it was only film, no digital. I learned in the darkroom not photoshop.

You had to learn to get it right the first time... everytime. That's a fundamental lesson a lot photographers today never learn. Most just pick up a camera and immediately call themselves photographers. I do understand everyone has to start somewhere, but it's important for you, the client to be able to tell the difference.

I need my clients to understand the kind of photographer they are getting. Everything is thought out and planned for, thought out and planned for you.LEARN MORE ABOUT WHY FILM

      LOOM

“When we eliminate the need to control, what do we see? What can we capture?” The first time we heard Ginny Au say those words it changed our lives. It's an amazing feeling for both our clients and us each and every time. We build a space for you to move freely in. Guided by our suggestions we watch the events unfold. We don't interact or interrupt, just document the natural you.LEARN ABOUT LOOM

The Way We See / the WORLD

Loom is the name given to this style of shooting. It represents the natural and organic way we capture our images.

It’s designed to take the awkwardness out of posing and allows a true representation of how our clients feel and communicate, not just what they look like. It completely takes all pressure off you by letting you move freely with no expectations on what you "should" do.

We find what the couple enjoys doing together. Then base the shoots around that. We place them in the middle of a thought out a scene and let them interact with each other naturally.
